About
My name is Christy Bruce
From a young age, I found myself wanting to support others to have the best life experience possible. I have a BA in Psychology and an MA in Liberal Studies, Psychology Emphasis. After moving to Canada, I worked with individuals with disabilities in various settings, including as a network facilitator creating a circle of support for individuals with a disability, for after their parents pass. And now, as a Certified End of Life Specialist (aka Death Doula) from the Home Hospice Association in Ontario, I provide the non-medical support and care for individuals who are dying and their circle of loved ones in the process; including the emotional, physical, social and spiritual aspects. As well, I provide education and the practical support for completing legal documents, funeral home arrangements, and ceremonies for before and after death. Dying is part of the natural cycle of life and can be a peaceful, calm and sacred time. I work to create peace of mind, comfort and support, helping to facilitate as much dignity and grace as possible for individuals and their loved ones during this precious time.

Who I Am
At End-of-Life Services: A Peaceful Path, I specialize in advanced care planning including funeral home arrangements, education and guidance, companioning, creating legacies and/or helping with reconciliations, vigil sitting and ceremonies before and after death. My mission is to provide compassionate and personalized support to individuals and families during a challenging yet sacred time, ensuring dignity and peace of mind throughout the end of life journey.
